Important Notice: Temporary Closure Due to Hurricane

Due to the impending threat of Hurricane Milton, our offices will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday. Your safety and your families’ safety are our top priorities, so please take all necessary precautions during this time.  County Updates – curfew, evacuations and shelters A curfew has been announced for Volusia County beginning at  8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9., and lasting until 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10. The curfew does not apply to:  Volusia County has enacted an evacuation order for Hurricane Milton beginning 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, for the following: The County is partnering with Volusia County Schools to open emergency shelters at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9.  General Population Shelters:  Special Needs Shelters: These shelters will provide basic necessities such as food, water, and a place to sleep. Note that they are not intended to be comfortable living spaces. Special Needs Shelters are staffed by healthcare professionals, these shelters are for evacuees with one caregiver only.
