Re: Notice of Resident Advisory Board (RAB) Formation and Meeting
Pursuant to HUD regulation 24CFR 903.13, Housing Daytona Beach is officially establishing
its Resident Advisory Board (RAB). Because no formal resident council currently exists, the
Housing Authority is hereby appointing all assisted residents as members of the Resident
Advisory Board to ensure every household has a voice in our agency’s future.
What is the Resident Advisory Board?
The RAB is a federally mandated body that assists the Housing Authority in developing its
Annual and 5-Year PHA plans. These plans outline our mission, goals, and policies regarding
maintenance, safety, and property improvements.
Your First Meeting
We invite you to participate in our RAB meeting to review the upcoming PHA plan and share
your recommendations.

Copies of the draft PHA Plan are available for review at www.dbhafl.org at all public housing
offices and were previously emailed via Rent Café.
