AFFORDABLE HOUSING RESIDENTS
The HACDB will adhere to the Surgeon General's opinion regarding the COVID 19 and will suspend normal operations from 1:00 p.m. on 3/23/20 to 8:00 a.m. on 3/30/20
Effective 3/23/20. The HACDB will issue an automatic 30-day extension on any voucher expiring during the months of March and April You will not need to contact HACDB to obtain an extension.
Due to the COVID 19 epidemic, we are closed to the public. Our staff is working to manage emergency issues, payments and other critical matters. We apologize for any delay in responding to your request. We wish the best for you and your families and businesses and appreciate your understanding.
Florida Ag Commissioner activates call center to help families find free meals for kids
March 20, 11 a.m.: Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services have partnered with 2-1-1 to activate a text line and call center open 24/7, which families can contact to find free meals for children under 18 during the current COVID-19 school closures. This follows the Department's recent activation of the Summer Break Spot children's meal locator website at SummerBreakSpot.FreshFromFlorida.com.
Floridians can now text FLKIDSMEALS to 211-211 to find their closest participating Summer Break Spot location, and can also call 2-1-1 to speak with a live operator 24 hours a day
Effective Monday, March 23, 2020 the FSS Public Housing Coordinator services, will be unavailable until further notice.
The HCV (sec 8), Affordable Housing and Grant staff will not be seeing our customers in person at this time for your safety and ours. You may reach us by phone or email at email@example.com. Please avoid visits to the offices as we generally will be unable to see you in person. Drop boxes are available or are being placed in each office for your convenience. We appreciate your understanding.
