Resident Services

Resident Services

People who find a home with Housing Daytona Beach have often struggled with some of life’s toughest challenges. High housing costs, job loss, illness, substance abuse, trauma, and isolation are just some of the barriers facing our residents as they work to create a stable life.

We recognize that people often need more than a home to build a stable life, which is why, in addition to housing, we provide Resident Services.

Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS)
The HACDB FSS Program coaches and empowers HUD-assisted families in both the Housing Choice Voucher, and Public Housing Programs to increase their earned income, and reduce their dependency on welfare assistance and rental subsidies.

Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS)
The ROSS program links residents of public housing to supportive services and activities, enabling them to make progress towards economic independence and housing self-sufficiency.

Older Adult Home Modification Program (OAHMP)
